They were both giving hosting roles as part of the line-up for the 2015 edition of The X Factor.

Proving they mean business for their new jobs, Caroline Flack and Rochelle Humes put on a coordinated display on Wednesday.

As the audition process for the hit talent TV show kicked off in Manchester, both Flack, 35, and Humes, 26, opted for a shirt and jeans combo.

Ditching her favoured leggy display, Caroline opted to slip into a pair of slim fitted black jeans which she teamed with a short sleeved leopard print shirt.

Adding height to her petite frame, Flack wore a pair of chunky brown suede slingbacks which featured gold stud embellishments.

Wearing her ombré bob down in a side part, the Love Island host lined her pout with a shade of scarlet lipstick.

Sending his wife support on Twitter, Rochelle's better half Marvin tweeted: 'So excited for my wife today starting her dream job..she's gonna be great! @RochelleHumes #XtraFactor'.

It was announced last month that Rochelle and Melvin Odoom were taking over Sarah-Jane Crawford's role as the hosts of spin-off show The Xtra Factor.

While Olly Murs and Caroline were confirmed as the first ever duo to host the UK X Factor in April after long-running host Dermot O'Leary stepped down from his post.

This year Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini return as judges along with newcomers Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw.
