She's just opened her own pop-up fashion store in Los Angeles.

And as befitting the boss of a style emporium, Nicole Richie wowed in a chic outfit as she paid a visit to her shop on Wednesday night.

The 33-year-old strutted into her House of Harlow 1960 pop-up shop at The Grove in a slinky red dress which showed off her lithe figure.

The designer and TV star put her slim figure on show in the clinging red satin number as she arrived to a crowd gathered outside the pop-up boutique.

A plunging neckline also flashed a hint of the star's back lacy bra as she headed inside to meet shoppers.

While her choice of frock was very dressy, Nicole kept things casual with her shoes, ditching the heels for a pair of flat black sandals.

The star was also showing off her new platinum blonde crop at the store visit, after experimenting with a rainbow of colours over the past few months.

A long pendant and one of her favourite jewellery pieces - a statement gold armband, completed the glam look.

On Tuesday the 33-year-old was again spotted showing off her fashion credentials as she made her way to a promotional event for the second season of her VH1 series, held at her store.

As they once again quashed rumours of a split, she was supported at the Candidly Nicole premiere event by husband Joel Madden, who opted to dress a bit more casually than his wife for the occasion.

Nicole looked stunning in a daring black lace halter top with a floral pattern, which highlighted the star's trim frame.

She coupled the look with a pair of high-waisted, wide-leg orange trousers and sky-high strappy black heels.

Nicole kept her look simple for the occasion, accessorizing only with a gold arm band, and carrying a black leather clutch.

The mother-of-two was joined at the event by husband Joel, who sported an all-black ensemble as he was spotted making his way to the shop.

The Madden Brothers singer donned a fitted black T-shirt underneath a textured black vest, which he coupled with a pair of loose-fitting trousers.

He finished off the look with a pair of high-top Converse sneakers and a black baseball cap, and hid his eyes behind a pair of black sunglasses.

Nicole has taken to Twitter over the last week to promote the shop - as well as the upcoming second season of her series Candidly Nicole, which premieres on VH1 on July 29.

The former The Simple Life star is hosting a series of events to coincide with her pop-up shop opening, including conversations with CEO and Co-founder of Who What Wear, Katherine Power, and Sophia Rossi of Hello Giggles.
