A pure angel! Isabel Lucas slips slender frame into symbolic white dress and crochet embellished blazer for Dalai Lama summit

She's made no secret of the fact she has a strong passion for environmental activism.

So it was only natural that Isabel Lucas would wear white to symbolise purity while attending the Dalai Lama Global Compassion Summit at the University Of California Irvine in Irvine on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old model looked angelic in her lightweight white dress and crochet embellished blazer as she left the climate change talk with a huge smile plastered across her face.

Her brown floral patterned sleeves put a vintage spin on the look, while the frilly detailing around the hemline swished with the wind and added some girly glam to the elegant ensemble.

With her long blonde hair pulled back into a stylish 'do, the actress radiated elegance as she wandered along the path in her green mid-high booties and factual books clutched in her hand.

Going makeup free, the blonde stunner let her natural complexion shine through as a number of dainty string necklaces hung from her neck and tapped against her chest with every step.

The Tibetan spiritual leader hosted a three-day summit on global compassion, which started on Sunday in Orange County, to conduct talks on compassion, youth leadership and climate change.

Thousands of celebrities around the globe - including Kris Jenner - jetted in for the popular event to listen to the talks and honour the Dalai Lama's 80th birthday, which fell on Monday June 6.

Meanwhile, Isabel has always been interested in environmental activism, with an arrest warrant being taken out for her after she participated in a protest against dolphin culling in Japan in 2007.

She has also lent her support to the campaign against proposed natural gas plants in the Kimberleys in Australia's Northern Territory.

That's not the only time Isabel, who follows a vegan diet, has hit headline as she sparked concern for her health in 2012 when she appeared to lose weight after splitting with beau Angus Stone.

Speaking about their romance recently, the model told Daily Life: 'I guess we can't ever make someone feel ready for all that comes with big love and long-term commitment.'

'I went through my own process of accepting that and turning a broken heart into something beautiful,' she added.

Since then, Isabel has been linked to several Hollywood stars, including Jake Gyllenhaal, Jared Leto, Joel Edgerton, Adrian Grenier and her former soap co-star Chris Hemsworth.

Having first burst onto screens as a fresh-faced teen on Home And Away, Isabel’s doll-like aesthetic has seen her land roles playing a range of mystical characters.
