She has strutted along the catwalk for Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton and many other top designers.

And Behati Prinsloo looked equally chic as she got ready for a different kind of runway on Wednesday, while jetting out of Los Angeles.

The supermodel, who stands a statuesque 5ft 11in, dressed her slender 32-25-35 frame in an ankle length, figure-hugging black dress that showed off exactly why she is in such demand among fashion houses.

The 26-year-old teamed the sleeveless dress with black-and-white slip-on sneakers and she carried a soft black jacket in one hand as she pulled her carry on luggage with the other.

Behati, who hails from Namibia, wore her dark blonde hair in loose waves around her shoulders, pinned back to keep it out of her face.

She slung a grey leather handbag over her shoulder and accessorised with a gold metal choker and bracelet made of red beads.

She covered her hazel eyes with round Ray-Ban sunglasses, which she took off once she entered the concourse.

The Victoria's Secret Angel appeared to be on a solo trip without her rocker husband, Adam Levine.

Behati and the 36-year-old Maroon 5 lead singer tied the knot on July 19, 2014 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The couple started dating in May 2012 but broke up briefly the following year before reconciling and getting engaged in July 2013.

Aside from her gig with Victoria's Secret, busy Behati is also the face of Victoria's Secret Pink 

And she is branching out, fronting a perfume with Juicy Couture.
