BB house so bad, it's like the Commons!

Big Brother housemate Derek launched a scathing attack on the bad behaviour of his fellow contestants.

The Tory speechwriter visited the diary room to talk about the lying, thieving people he is living alongside.

Shocked to discover that Maxwell secretly added cider to the shopping list last week and then stashed the contraband cans, Derek was moved to strong words.

He dubbed his housemates "valueless, faceless people, parading about for the sake of the cameras".

"People lie and cheat and steal. This is not a happy house, it reminds me of the House of Commons," he said.

The house is adjusting to life without student Sam Heuston, who was evicted after irritating her housemates and viewers alike.

Big Brother threw a barn dance for the housemates last night, supplying a barbecue and country music.

Roberto was thrilled by Big Brother's choice of country music, starting proceedings with the Billy Ray Cyrus classic, Achy Breaky Heart.

The housemates dressed up in stetsons and neckerchiefs, downing beer to the sounds of Dolly Parton.
