But on Thursday night, Rihanna shrouded her famous assets under a large black blazer as she headed towards New York’s popular Up & Down nightclub with a group of friends.

The 27-year-old singer, who recently released the video to B**** Better Have My Money, certainly channelled an androgynous vibe thanks to the bold style choice which was teamed with a plain white T-shirt.

She usually goes for the form fitted or extremely revealing attires but she changed her ways this time.

Rihanna was nothing short of sex appeal! The stunner wore an oversized blazer over a long white tee and some breathtaking lace thigh high boots!

She released her explicit music video to BBHMM online last week, and her latest track has already garnered over 8 million views but has also caused controversy.

Rihanna co-directed the racy video with the French collective MegaForce and it also co-stars Eric Roberts, Hannibal actor Mads Mikkelsen as well as Supermodel Rachel Roberts.

During the seven minute long movie Canadian beauty Rachel is kidnapped, stripped naked and then tortured by the Umbrella singer.

Roberts, who has featured in Vogue, spoke out in support of the video saying: ‘Whether or not you like what she's doing in the video, Rihanna is portraying a strong woman, who is fighting back, even if her methods are obviously highly questionable

'Beyond that, I don't think it's particularly useful to argue the politics of the video – it was always meant to be over-the-top and not taken too seriously.'

Meanwhile, Rihanna has been hard at work recording her eighth studio album rumoured to be titled 'R8'. A release date has yet to be announced.
