Ray Clemence answers whether Tottenham are in the process of taking over from Arsenal as north London's leading team for an extended period, as well as who, on current form, are top dogs and who will finish higher in the Premiership?

I hope so and I think every Spurs fan hopes so too. The club have bought very well this season to build an excellent side with some tremendous young players.

With everything Arsenal have achieved, it's hard to tell who will be top dog come the end of the season. But with so many promising youngsters, Spurs could have the makings of a very strong squad as well as an excellent First XI.

It will be interesting over the next two or three years to see if they can fulfil their potential. To get into a European spot would be a fantastic achievement.

And if Martin Jol keeps up their form for the rest of the season it would be great for all Spurs supporters.

Who, on current form, are top dogs? And who will finish higher in the Premiership?

Spurs to finish above Gunners.
