Nigel Winterburn answers whether Tottenham are in the process of taking over from Arsenal as north London's leading team for an extended period, as well as who, on current form, are top dogs and who will finish higher in the Premiership?

Not a chance. You can't achieve what Arsenal have achieved in 10 games. It will take Tottenham a long time before they have the upper hand. Look at Arsenal's phenomenal success over that period of time. They didn't build a team overnight, it took years of dedication to achieve it.

Arsene Wenger has taken the club forward. His record in the transfer market is exceptional and don't forget they haven't spent anywhere near the kind of money that Spurs have. It will take time before Tottenham start competing for things.

Arsenal have never finished outside the Champions League places under Wenger. Tottenham have been trying for years and never come close, but they have clearly turned a corner under Martin Jol.

Who, on current form, are top dogs? And who will finish higher in the Premiership?

Gunners to finish above Spurs.
