Gary Mabbutt answers whether Tottenham are in the process of taking over from Arsenal as north London's leading team for an extended period, as well as who, on current form, are top dogs and who will finish higher in the Premiership?

Over the past decade Arsenal have pulled away from us. Arsenal embraced the new era of football a lot better than Tottenham did.

Having said that, this season has shown the hard work that has been done at White Hart Lane over the past couple of seasons. Certainly that gap has been narrowed a great deal.

There is still a way to go and if you look at Arsenal's squad there are some wonderful young players coming through.

Having said all that, these are very exciting times for Tottenham. We have a young squad who are still getting to know each other.

All the reports coming from Tottenham say they don't fear Arsenal and this is a huge opportunity for the club and players to move forward and show everyone that they have moved forward. There is definitely a lot of light at the end of what has been a very long tunnel for Tottenham supporters.

Who, on current form, are top dogs? And who will finish higher in the Premiership?

Gunners to finish above Spurs.
