Frank Lampard gives fiancee Christine Bleakley a guided tour of the New York City training centre

After twenty years playing professional football in England, Frank Lampard is clearly loving his new adventure in New York.

And it seems his television presenter fiancee Christine Bleakley is also enjoying Lampard's career change vicariously.

The 37-year-old Chelsea legend took Bleakley, who he has been in a relationship with since October 2009, around his MLS club's training complex on Saturday morning as he counts down the days before his debut at the Yankee Stadium.

The previous day Lampard and Bleakley both posted a selfie picture from Fifth Avenue, in the New York City borough of Manhattan, as they soaked up the afternoon sunshine in the Big Apple.

Lampard has been keen to show his social media followers that he is taking training at his new club seriously, as well as bonding with his team-mates, with a variety of recent picture posts.

In one post he complimented his American defender team-mate Jeb Brovsky's moustache, and in another he collated a collage of photos taken of him in training, with the 106-capped former England international shooting, passing, participating in drills, and lifting weights in the gym.

Lampard is expected to make his New York City debut against Toronto at the Yankee Stadium on July 12.

New York City, who are currently second from bottom in the MLS' Eastern Conference, are in action against Montreal Impact on Sunday, however Lampard will sit out the upcoming away match in order to work on his match fitness.

The former England international was in the stands at the Yankee Stadium last Sunday as his new side were defeated 3-1 by rivals New York Red Bulls.
