Selfie-obsessed Karen Danczuk being lined up for Celebrity Big Brother after split from MP husband amid claims The Script's Danny O'Donoghue is desperate to date her

Karen Danczuk is being lined up for the new series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The selfie-obsessed estranged wife of Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk is reportedly top of Channel 5's wishlist for the reality TV show.

A source told The Sun: 'Karen would be an expensive guest but she will be worth it because she is box office and will bring in the viewers.'

It is believed that show bosses, who have not been afraid to splash the cash to land big name guests in the past, are willing to pay out to get Karen on the programme.

'CBB is perfect for her - as viewers will see a lot of her famous boobs and she will have more to talk about.'

No doubt show bosses are hoping for some explosive revelations after Karen recently revealed she was asked out by The Script's Danny O'Donoghue.

She reportedly told The Sun: 'I've already had plenty of offers, even from some celebs.

'And Danny O'Donoghue from The Script got his agent to ask if I wanted to go on a date. It's something I'm definitely considering.'

MailOnline has contacted Danny's rep for comment.

Simon, 48 and 33-year-old Karen split last month and things quickly turned ugly with accusations of cheating.

Mr Danczuk voiced fears that his wife had been cheating on him with her personal trainer for five months after Ben Bate, 33, was photographed leaving the couple's home at 5am last week.

And the 'selfie queen' hit back saying she is 'disgusted' by his comments and vowing that the 'truth will out'.

Karen tweeted: 'I'm disgusted by the Suns story. Pure lies! I know truth, he knows truth! KD #alcoholic #arrogant #badtemper #goodwithhis..... #truthwillout.'

The mother-of-two said the Rochdale MP was 'laughing at you all' and was trying to damage her with negative press.

She said: 'And to clarify all week I've been in the press but haven't done any. It's HIS PR team doing all this to damage me because they're scared.

'This is how it has been played. I'm In press all week despite not doing any & I'm told to keep it private?? He's laughing at you all! KD.'

Her devastated husband said it was 'clear' Karen and Mr Bate had a close relationship and said he felt 'like a fool' for not suspecting after Karen started wearing make-up and skimpy kit to the gym.

He told The Sun on Sunday: 'I have had numerous conversations with her about whether she is having a relationship with Ben and it is very clear to me now that they are.

'It would not surprise me if it had been going on for four or five months. What more proof do I need?

'I should have seen it coming, it was happening right under my nose.

'She was always getting glammed-up for training which was weird, putting make-up on and wearing revealing outfits.'

He said her gym sessions went from once a week to every day and last month they spent five days together in Spain last month at a boot camp near Alicante.

Both Karen and Ben have denied a fling.
