Two deny triple blaze murders

Two men appeared in court today charged with a triple murder.

Sam Benn, 21, of no fixed abode but believed to be from the Medway area of Kent, and Curtis Bushell, 18, of Gillingham, Kent, both denied murdering Paul Arnold, Rikki Sheehan, and her son Charlie, two, on March 18 last year.

Sam Benn pleaded guilty to three charges of manslaughter when they appeared at Maidstone Crown Court today.

Rikki Sheehan, 27, her son Charlie and her boyfriend Paul Arnold, 34, died in the blaze above a Turkish restaurant in High Street, Chatham, Kent, on March 18 last year.
