They may be brothers and the best of pals.

But it seems Liam Hemsworth doesn't take too kindly to being mistaken for his older sibling Chris.

The 25-year-old star appeared to lose his cool for a moment during a red carpet interview at Comic-Con in San Diego on Thursday, when he thought a reporter addressed him by his brother's name.

Ohh! Introducing himself by his first name, the reporter said, 'Hi I'm Chris, it's nice to meet you'

But Liam seemed to get the tail-end of the statement and snapped back, 'You called me Chris? It's Liam. You called me Chris didn't you?' with a somewhat angry expression plastered across his face.

Clearly taken back by the outburst, the journalist replied with a stutter, 'Oh no, I said I'm Chris.'

With his face reddening with every second that went by, the Hunger Games hunk placed his hand on the reporter's arm as a form of apology before saying, 'Oh, you're Chris. Phew.'

Furious! But Liam seemed to get the tail-end of the statement and snapped back, 'You called me Chris? It's Liam. You called me Chris didn't you?' with a somewhat angry expression plastered across his face

Feeling slightly uncomfortable with how the conversation had panned out, Liam added, 'OK, you're Chris. I'm Liam. We're good,' as he fidgeted around on the spot.

The Australian heartthrob was at the exhibition with his Hunger Games co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence and was clearly feeling nostalgic about the end of the saga creeping closer.

Liam couldn't resist showing his co-stars just how much they mean to him as he chucked his arms around them for a friendly and disorganised embrace at the Hilton Bayfront.

The silly and slightly awkward encounter saw the good-looking star sink down to bent knees as he placed his hand on Jennifer's back and rested his head on Josh's chest.

Falling into a fit of giggles, the talented trio seemed to be enjoying the spotlight on them as they cheered and stumbled around ahead of the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 panel.

Dressed down in a pair of dark jeans and a matching skintight T-shirt, Liam seemed in his element as he posed for photographs with his film friends before making his way onto the stage for the talk.

Sitting in his designated seat, Liam let loose a little and began ramming his hand in front of Josh's face as the three of them let out a loud laugh and took a sip from their bottles of water.

Her hair was down and wavy, while her makeup looked flawless with a dewy base, a light dusting of blusher across the apples of her cheeks and a delicate swipe of pink lipstick across her pout.

Josh opted for a similar look to Liam's with a pair of tarnish-coloured skinny jeans, a pair of scuffed brown boots and a white T-shirt with a pale blue shirt slipped over top to keep him warm.

The Hunger Games saga will come to an end later this year, much to the disappointment of fans, with Mockingjay- Part 2 hitting the big screen this summer.
