Poison spy: Man hunted

Police investigating the death of former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko are looking for

Russian businessman who flew to Britain at the same time as radioactive polonium 210 was

allegedly smuggled in.

He was seen on a flight from Hamburg seated next to Dimitri Kovtun — suspected by German police of trafficking the substance and one of the last people to see Mr Litvinenko alive — but has since vanished.

The name used to the flight does not show up on

any hotel register in London, according to The Times. Mr Kovtun denies any involvement in

Mr Litvinenko’s death.
