Sergio Ramos back in Real Madrid training despite interest from Manchester United

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos might be a transfer target for Manchester United, but the 29-year-old does not seem to be losing any focus and turned up for pre-season training with his club as expected on Saturday.
With United leaking 37 goals in the Premier League last term, they have made defensive reinforcements one of their top priorities this summer and Spain international Ramos fits the bill perfectly.
Madrid are interested in signing United's goalkeeper David de Gea and there has been plenty of speculation that Ramos could be in line for some sort of part-exchange deal as a makeweight.

But the idea that United could sign Ramos without losing De Gea looks unlikely, as Madrid have already rejected an initial £23.8million bid from the Old Trafford side.
Ramos, who joined Madrid from Sevilla in 2005 and has since gone on to be a key player in the first-team picture, winning multiple trophies, is actually quite open to a move away.
He has grown disillusioned with life at the Santiago Bernabeu and is upset that his current salary does not, to his mind at least, reflect the contributions he has made to Madrid's successes.
Still, that Ramos has turned up dutifully to pre-season training in spite of these feelings he has, should go some way towards diminishing his hothead reputation.

Ramos was joined in training by Welshman Gareth Bale, who became the world's most expensive player when he signed for Madrid from Tottenham for £86m in 2013.
Bale struggled for form last season and came under intense scrutiny from sections of Madrid's fans. However, he has vowed to come back stronger in the next campaign.
Meanwhile, Placido Domingo the opera singer and die-hard Los Blancos fan, made a brief appearance at the Valdebebas complex to meet the squad.
