They're from two different worlds but a shared surname brought Essex TV star and legendary footballer Ian Wright together at this year's annual ITV summer party on Thursday evening.

The former TOWIE star looked like he was having an absolute hoot with the football pundit as he made a rare solo appearance without new wife Michelle Keegan at the garden soirée in London's Notting Hill.

Mark, 28, and Ian, 51, got chatting and as the party wrapped, they seemed to have formed a strong bond as they larked around in front of the cameras.

Despite Michelle's absence, Mark was in a jolly mood and he willingly played up to the paparazzi with his new chum before they called it a night.

Mark and Ian were in their element as they formed 'W' signs with their hands, while grinning like a pair of naughty schoolboys.

The radio host turned presenter was suited and booted as he arrived to the secret venue in a dashing pale grey suit, which he teamed with an unbuttoned white shirt and brown suede Chelsea boots.

Mark ooked to be sporting a just-married glow, almost two months after making Michelle his wife.

Meanwhile, Ian, 51, rocked up to the star-studded bash with his spouse Nancy Hallam in hand, in an altogether more casual ensemble.

Ian wore stone-wash denim jeans, a floral-printed shirt and a pale blue linen blazer, while Nancy opted for an understated blue wrap dress and black peep-toe wedges.

But Mark wouldn't have been too lonely at the event, with his sister Jessica, 29, and best friend, James 'Arg' Argent, 27, also in attendance.

Michelle has been busy working in recent days, travelling abroad to shoot her new campaign images for her latesy Lipsy collection.

The award-winning actress has begun filming her very first movie - Strangeways Here We Come, and was spotted on set in Salford, Manchester, last week.

Mark and Michelle tied the knot on May 25 at Hengrave Hall in Sussex, before enjoying a lavish, two-week honeymoon in The Maldives and Dubai
