SIMON JONES: Chelsea are showing an interest in Internacional midfielder Charles Aranguiz who has also been watched by Manchester City, Arsenal, Marseille and Bayer Leverkusen.
The 26-year-old was one of the stars of Chile's successful Copa America tournament.
His club are reluctant to open talks until after their Copa Libertadores semi-final.
More from Sportsmail's Laurie Whitwell on Fabian Delph announcing he will be staying at Villa Park...
Fabian Delph has performed an incredible U-turn and will stay at Aston Villa instead of completing a proposed £8million move to Manchester City.
The England midfielder was due for a medical at City on Saturday morning but has instead dramatically decided to continue as Villa captain.
It represents one of the most remarkable shifts to a transfer in Premier League history, with Delph informing Villa of his intentions to leave on Friday.
Fabian Delph has announced he will be staying at Aston Villa, despite Manchester City tabling an £8m bid for the England midfielder.
In a statement on the club's official website he said: 'I'm aware there has been intense media speculation surrounding my future in the last 24 hours and I want to set the record straight.
'I'm not leaving. I'm staying at the football club and I can't wait for the start of the season and captaining this great football club.'

CRAIG HOPE: Newcastle want to use Remy Cabella in a swap deal for Marseille winger Florian Thauvin, Sportsmail understands.
Cabella – a £12million signing from Montpellier 12 months ago – did not feature during United’s 1-0 victory at Gateshead on Friday night because of a thigh problem.
The 25-year-old is unlikely to join the Magpies on this week’s tour of the US and is thought to be unsettled on Tyneside after a disappointing first season.
Simon Jones: Former Manchester City striker John Guidetti is signing for Celta Vigo on a five-year contract.
Guidetti, 23, was on loan at Celtic last season.
Laurie Whitwell: Aston Villa have completed the signing of Idrissa Gueye for £9million after the Lille midfielder was granted a work permit.
The Senegal international, 25, is expected to join up with Tim Sherwood's squad in Portugal to provide a timely boost following the confirmation Fabian Delph is leaving.
Gueye, a box-to-box player, has been waiting to seal his move since agreeing terms during a meeting with Sherwood at Bodymoor Heath last week.
Staff at Manchester United's Carrington training base are on standby for Schweinsteiger's medical later this afternoon.
And more United-related news from Simon Jones:
Antalyaspor club president Gültekin Gencer is convinced Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes will join the club if the board approves his wage demands.
'We have made an official bid. Valdes wants to join Antalyaspor all that remains is for us to agree the fee being demanded,' Gencer told Turkish paper Milliyet.
'I believe it will be completed within a couple of days.'
As Schweinsteiger arrives at Old Trafford, one player is on his way out...
SIMON JONES: Fenerbahce chairman Aziz Yildirim says Robin Van Persie's move is complete: 'We worked very hard, until midnight.
'We received five faxes, sent six faxes and finally it was finished. The Van Persie transfer is done and one more star has joined the Fenerbahce constellation.'
Simon Jones: Espanyol have rejected Real Madrid's £2.87million bid for goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.
Espanyol are believed to be willing to accept a £4m bid plus a player on loan for the 28-year-old.
Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that Bastian Schweinsteiger will join Manchester United this summer.
Rummenigge said the German champions tried to convince the Germany captain to stay at the Allianz Arena but the 30-year-old felt the need for a new challenge.
He would not confirm the transfer fee though it is believed Bayern want at least £15m for a midfielder who has given them stellar service over the past 13 years.
Another club today that Bastian Schweinsteiger is on his way to Manchester United...
Simon Jones reports that new Bayern signing Joshua Kimmich just said at his unveiling: 'It's a pity that Schweinsteiger has gone. It's a shame to lose such a quality player.'
Sevilla are not expecting to sign Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez after prioritising the purchase of Borussia Dortmund forward Ciro Immobile.
The Spanish side enquired about the Mexican forward but sources close to the club's sporting director Monchi have told Sportsmail that Hernandez will not sign for Sevilla this summer.
The Andalusian outfit need a striker to replace Colombian forward Carlos Bacca, who has signed for AC Milan, and they are close to signing Italian forward Ciro Immobile from German club Dortmund in a £10million deal.
Joe Bernstein: Tottenham's young Croatian midfielder Tomislav Gomelt is set to join Italian club Bari on a free transfer after being released at White Hart Lane.
Gomelt, 20, joined Spurs from NK Zagreb in 2012 but was unable to play competitive games on his arrival because Croatia were outside the EU at the time.
He went on loan to Espanyol's B team, Royal Antwerp and last season had a spell at Serie B side Bari where he did enough for them to offer a permanent contract.
Ian Ladyman: Louis van Gaal expects David de Gea to travel on tour with Manchester United next week as the intrigue over the goalkeeper's future drags on.
De Gea remains a United player as the Barclays Premier League club waits to see if Real Madrid will follow up their interest with a firm offer.
Speaking at a press conference to unveil new signing Memphis Depay at Old Trafford on Friday, Van Gaal was asked whether he anticipate a problem with De Gea in America next week.
Continental Breakfast: AC Milan have increased their contract offer for Zlatan Ibrahimovic after their city rivals Inter Milan expressed an interest in the PSG striker.
That's according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who claim the Rossoneri are willing to pay the 33-year-old £5.3million per year for three seasons.
Roberto Mancini is also keen on a reunion with Ibrahimovic, who played for Inter between 2006 and 2009, and AC Milan between 2010 and 2012.
Joe Bernstein: Stoke City have rushed through the signing of former Liverpool and England defender Glen Johnson in time for him to fly with the rest of the team to Singapore on Saturday morning – but goalkeeper Asmir Begovic was not on board after agreeing an £8million move to Chelsea.
A dramatic 48 hours at The Britannia Stadium saw 30-year-old Johnson agree to join Mark Hughes' side having only been approached about the move on Thursday.
Johnson was a free agent after being released by Liverpool and had no hesitation in moving to a club that finished ninth in the Premier League last season. An additional bonus is that he doesn't have to uproot his family who are settled in the north-west.
Georginio Wijnaldum has become the third most expensive signing in Newcastle's history after putting pen to paper on five-year deal.
The 24-year-old Holland international midfielder completed his move from PSV Eindhoven on Saturday morning for a fee understood to be in the region of 20 million euros, around £14.4million.
Wijnaldum said: "I'm delighted to be a Newcastle United player.I felt the time was right for me to move and the Club have shown they really want me, so I'm very happy to be here."
Yohan Cabaye has revealed that retaining his place in the France national team was a deciding factor in his return to the Premier League with Crystal Palace.
The former Newcastle midfielder completed a £12.8million move from big spending Paris Saint Germain to Selhurst Park on Friday - where he will be reunited with former boss Alan Pardew.
However, the Frenchman admitted the prospect of playing at next year's European Championships in his homeland was the biggest lure.
The 29-year-old has made 38 international appearances, but has found his club opportunities limited at the Le Parc des Princes.
Stoke City have announced the signing of Shay Given on a two-year deal following his release from Aston Villa.
The 39-year-old was close to joining Middlesbrough but the Potters swooped late to complete a deal for the experienced stopper.
Given is joining Marco van Ginkel at the Britannia Stadium after he completed a loan move on Friday.
Laurie Whitwell: Aston Villa captain Fabian Delph will complete his £8million move to Manchester City in the next 24 hours.
City are understood to have activated the release clause in the England midfielder's contract and personal terms have been agreed.
Delph, 25, did not travel with the Villa squad to their pre-season training camp in Portugal and will become Manuel Pellegrini's first signing of the summer.
Craig Hope: Steve McClaren says Georginio Wijnaldum can provide the nuisance factor for Newcastle United next season.
The Magpies are on the verge of announcing the £14.5million signing of the PSV Eindhoven captain.
McClaren came up against Wijnaldum during his time managing in Holland and believes the 24-year-old midfielder will prove a success in the Premier League.
Louis van Gaal has confirmed Torino full-back Matteo Darmian is heading to Manchester for a medical ahead of a move to Manchester United.
Van Gaal was speaking at the unveiling of Memphis Depay at Old Trafford, but with the £25million capture of the Dutch forward known for some time, it was news of Darmian's arrival that grabbed Friday's headlines.
Upon being asked if there was any truth in the rumours that the Italian defender would be joining the club, Van Gaal responded: 'Matteo Darmian, I've read that in the papers. That is true,' before answering in the affirmative when asked if he was on his way for a medical.
John Edwards: Bastian Schweinsteiger has agreed to join Manchester United in a spectacular coup for manager Louis van Gaal.
It is understood the Germany midfielder's relationship with Van Gaal was a major factor behind his decision to accept United's offer of a contract believed to be worth £7.2m a year over three years, the same as his current deal with Bayern.
According to German daily BILD, the 30-year-old has informed Bayern bosses of his intention to join United and is on standby to fly to Manchester to complete the formalities of a medical and signing the papers.
