Jordan Henderson has been announced as the cover star for FIFA 16 after the creators EA Sports put it to a public vote for the first time in the video game's history.
Liverpool's newly-appointed captain is the first Reds player to feature on the front cover and will feature alongside Barcelona star Lionel Messi.
He becomes the latest face to feature on the game which first launched as FIFA International Soccer in late 1993.

David Platt and Piotr Swierczewski featured on first FIFA game while Erik Thorstvedt was FIFA Soccer 95 face
Frank de Boer and Jason McAteer made it on FIFA Soccer 96 and David Ginola was the cover for FIFA 97
David Beckham was the face of FIFA: Road to World Cup 98, where his tournament ended with a red card
The covers of FIFA 2000 and FIFA 2001 featured the figures of England's Sol Campbell and Paul Scholes
Thierry Henry was only face on FIFA 2002 while Edgar Davids, Roberto Carlos and Ryan Giggs made 2003
Henry returned to the cover for FIFA 2004 while Patrick Vieira was one of the faces on the 2005 release
The successful series was unleashed in late 1993 and was notable for having an official license from world football's governing body FIFA.
Through the years, the video game has featured football's greatest figures including Thierry Henry, Edgar Davids, Roberto Carlos and Ronaldinho.
Since FIFA 13, Messi has been a regular feature on the front cover after replacing Wayne Rooney who starred from FIFA 06 to FIFA 12.
For the first time in the history of the game, EA Sports gave fans the opportunity to have their say on who stands shoulder to shoulder with the magical Argentine this year.
FIFA 16 will arrive in stores around the country on September 25 and it will be the first version to feature women's football, including the England women's international team.
