Azhar and Clarke send Surrey clear at the top

Surrey went clear at the

top of the Twenty20 South

Division with a six-wicket

win over Kent with 14 balls

to spare at Beckenham.

Having been set a modest

target of 132 runs, Surrey

lost Alastair Brown for

nine, playing on to Morne

Morkel with 23 on the

(2) also miscued. It was an

excellent over from

seamer Cook, who finished

with figures of two for 28.

But that brought together

Azhar Mahmood and Rikki

Clarke and the pair drove

Surrey home.
