Natagora gave trainer Pascal Bary a

fillip ahead of a big weekend with

victory in yesterday's Group One

Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket.

Bary runs leading French hope

Zambezi Sun in tomorrow's Arc.

Natagora

Natagora, a 7-2 shot, made most of

the running to beat Fleeting Spirit a

neck and earn a 12-1 quote for next season's 1,000 Guineas.

Bary,

celebrating his first winner in Britain

after 25 years trying, said: "We had to

run from the front, she has so much

speed. I hope she gets a mile next year."

Similiar tactics won Barry Hills-trained

Dark Angel (8-1) the Group One Middle

Park. Ridden by son Michael, he held

off Strike The Deal by half a length.
