Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton looks pretty in pink as she attends Nicky Hilton's wedding to banking heir James Rothschild at Kensington Palace

  • Chelsea Clinton, 35, wore a floral, floor-length dress to the royal residence
  • She and her husband Marc Mezvinsky were also among the guests at Nicky's pre-wedding dinner bash last night
  • Chelsea’s mother Hillary, 67, is currently in the US working on her presidential campaign

Chelsea Clinton was one of the first guests to arrive at Nicky Hilton's wedding to banking heir James Rothschild at Kensington Palace in London today.

The former First Daughter, 35, was photographed in a floor-length floral dress with bold black embellishments along the neckline.

Despite wearing a pair of platform high heels, the mother-of-one showed so sign of struggle as she walked across the grass toward the palace's entrance.

Chelsea smiled for photographers as she walked, carrying a black Edie Parker clutch and her iPhone.

Last night, the she wore a less eye-catching green sheath dress as she arrived at Spencer House on the arm of her husband Marc Mezvinsky.

Posing next to Countess Maya Von Schoenburg and with a broad smile on her face, Chelsea certainly appeared to be enjoying the experience.

Although none of the Royal Family are expected to attend today's ceremony, guests at last night's event included Thomas van Straubenzee, who is Princess Charlotte's godfather, and Dave Clark, who is the boyfriend of Princess Beatrice.

Snag Louboutin's peep-toe pumps like Chelsea

Chelsea Clinton showed up at Nicky Hilton's pre-wedding party looking understated and chic in a simple dark green body-con knee-length dress. We love the modern cut of the frock--the sleeves are flatteringly wide, the neck is graceful and the length is just perfect.

Clinton displayed some serious fashion chops kicking up the look with a pair of platform peep-toe pumps by none other than the red-sole king, Christian Louboutin. If you want to emulate her well-heeled look, click right to have your very own.

Chelsea, who lives in New York, became the First Daughter during her father Bill's years in office, and could yet do so again should her mother Hillary get her way.

The 67-year-old is currently bidding to become the Democratic candidate in next year's presidential elections, having formally announced her candidacy in April.

Since then, she has hit the campaign trail, albeit not always uncontroversially.

Last week, she hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons after her aides were seen lassoing journalists during an appearance in New Hampshire last week - a moment commentators described as 'a new low' in her relationship with the Press.
