The 25-year-old will be hoping to pose a different kind of question when he returns to pre-season training as he is set to battle it out against Petr Cech for the No 1 shirt.

Arsenal new boy Cech, who joined the Gunners for £11million, is likely to be given the nod to start in-between the sticks for Arsene Wenger's side at the start of the season.

Szczesny made 17 Barclays Premier League appearances during the 2014-15 campaign.
