AC Milan have increased their contract offer for Zlatan Ibrahimovic after their city rivals Inter Milan expressed an interest in the PSG striker.
That's according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who claim the Rossoneri are willing to pay the 33-year-old £5.3million per year for three seasons.
Roberto Mancini is also keen on a reunion with Ibrahimovic, who played for Inter between 2006 and 2009, and AC Milan between 2010 and 2012.
The future of Zlatan Ibrahimovic dominates the front pages of Corriere dello Sport and La Gazzetta dello Sport
The same publication also carry a quote from recently appointed Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic on their front page. Speaking about a move for Ibrahimovic, the Serb said: 'Someone like him always makes the difference.'
La Gazzetta dello Sport also go big on the battle for the former Barcelona forward, claiming that PSG want a transfer fee of just £3.2m from AC Milan.
They say that a deal is already agreed with the player and that the Ligue 1 champions are open to selling Ibrahimovic this summer, despite his success in Paris.
La Gazzetta also claim that Inter are closing in on deals for Manchester City misfit Stevan Jovetic and Wolfsburg winger Ivan Perisic, with both players expected to join the club shortly.
Over in Spain the focus remains on the future of Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who is set to end his 25-year stay with the club to join Porto.
AS claim the Spain international will be replaced by Espanyol's Kiko Casilla, who has already agreed to move to the Bernabeu when the two clubs agree a fee.
AS say Kika Casilla sign for Real Madrid this summer, while Marca have an interview with Andres Iniesta
Marca describe Saturday as 'the day of farewell' on their front page, adding that Casillas' departure for Portugal is close to being officially announced.
An interview with Andres Iniesta is also featured on the front page as the Barcelona midfielder looks back on his winning goal in the 2010 World Cup final against Holland - a match which took place exactly five years ago.
The Spain star says: 'I feel privileged to have made so many people happy. I still have emotions of the moment I scored the goal.'
