He might be just 23 months old but he's already giving his fashion conscious mom a run for her money. 

Fergie's toddler son Axl nailed the perfect on-trend look - as his doting singer mum picked him up in Los Angeles on Friday. 

The Black Eyed Peas singer, 40, took a break from recording her second solo album to enjoy some quality time with her little one - whose father is her husband Josh Duhamel.

The London Bridge singer was unmissable in a neon bright vest top, teamed with teeny daisy Dukes which showed off her toned legs. 

She kept her look fashionably grungy, with practical black biker boots. 

The star topped her look with a black cowboy hat covering her long wavy honey tresses and on-trend round framed sunglasses.

The Black Eyed Peas frontwoman slung a large black pony-skin bag over one arm before scooping up her precious son in her other arm. 

Axl looked delighted to be met by his famous mum - showing off his style in a backwards baseball cap and neckscarf. 

His winged pair of colourful kicks added a bright splash which seemed in keeping with his mom's vibrantly-hued top.

Fergie has been spotted regularly leaving a recording studio in Santa Monica, California, on Friday.

She's worked hard to get back into shape after giving birth just under 2 years ago.  

She recently exclusively told MailOnline: 'I was lazy with cardio after having the baby – but, in the end, I actually missed a good sweat. I feel great after a work-out and, eventually, I craved it.

'I have a trainer and I work out all the time. Like, three times a week. I do push-ups, squats, cardio, dance classes, jogging, elliptical and others.
