Scabby Amy Winehouse is so disorganised she misses Blake's visiting hours

Disorganised Amy Winehouse failed to turn up on time to see her beloved husband Blake during visiting hours at the north London prison he has been remanded to.

The singer's chaotic lifestyle has taken a toll on her timekeeping, as well as her terribly scabby skin, which looked worse than ever when she stepped out today in the hope of seeing her incarcerated husband.

Disorganised: Seen returning to her Camden home today, Amy Winehouse's increasingly chaotic lifestyle meant she turned up too late to visit husband Blake Fielder-Civil in Pentonville Prison, and was denied a visit

Scabby: Amy's skin looked worse than ever as she left her Camden home caked in heavy make-up in an attempt to cover up the terrible condition of her skin, before she tried to visit Blake today

A heart-shaped tattoo-style badge emblazoned with her husband's name.

Dressed in a black vest, dark denim jeans, and carrying a pair of stilettos in her hands, Amy had made some effort to smarten up her appearance.

But the heavy make-up could not hide the unsightly scabs on her face which some sources have blamed on her 'drug-taking' lifestyle.

The award-winning singer is in desperate shape and the pan-stick make-up failed to conceal the spots and scabs on her wrinkled cheeks, chin and nose.

Effort: Leaving home dressed in a black vest, dark denim jeans, and carrying a pair of stilettos in her hands, Amy had made some effort to smarten up her appearance, but friends are worried she is spiralling out of control

Amy's spokesman has insisted she is suffering from the bacterial skin infection impetigo - which is highly contagious and can develop by repetitive scratching of a sore.

He said the 24-year-old has been put on a course of antibiotics to clear it up.

But friends fear the scabs on her face are a sign that her drinking and drug taking is once again spiralling out of control.

The singer is said to be close to returning to rehab, and has reportedly admitted that "she needs to check into rehab again".

A source told The Sun: "There are too many temptations for her in the UK ¿ people around her in London are making it impossible for her to stay clean for any length of time.

"Her management had considered flying her to a clinic in Israel but are now looking further afield. They are assessing a clinic in Cape Town in South Africa."
