  • When did you discover beauty?

Watching my older sister - she taught me how to wax my legs and had a fabulous makeup bag I loved 'borrowing'.

  • Who do you consider to be beautiful?

Sarah Jessica Parker, whether she is being a mum and playing in thepark with her child or shining on the red carpet, she manages to lookeffortlessly beautiful.

  • What product is your beauty must-have?

I can never be without the Brow Tamer, £13, from my own range (tel: 020 8993 8333).

  • What's your mother's best beauty tip?

Look after your hands and feet as you can't have surgery on these areas, and they are the biggest giveaways to ageing.

  • What's the biggest beauty mistake you've ever made?

I have not made many beauty mistakes - thankfully! But every day I seeso many women who have made the worst mistake - over-plucking theireyebrows.

  • What's the last beauty product you bought?

I have discovered a fantastic site, www.lookfantastic.com, whichhas lots of luxury beauty brands that can be hard to get on the HighStreet. My latest buy was the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (£22).

  • What's the most expensive beauty product you've ever bought?

Sisley All Day All Year Essential Day Care, £165 (tel: 020 7591 6380).It is worth every penny as it really makes a difference to thecondition of my skin.

  • And the cheapest?

  • What's your star beauty secret?

Visit a professional and have your eyebrows shaped at least once - and see what a difference it can make.

  •  What's the best beauty advice you would pass on?

When shaping your eyebrows, pluck one hair at a time. Always sit in front of a large mirror with a magnified mirror in your hand. This gives you an overall view and helps with the detail. If in doubt, step away from the tweezers.
