The Divergent star teamed her revealing swimwear with a slouchy cardigan which swamped her petite frame and accessorised the look with a plaited leather belt and tortoiseshell sunglasses.

She held her braided hair off her face, showing off a number of small tattoos on her forearm as she posed against a wall with her luscious lips slightly parted.

In another photo for the magazine's denim issue, Zoe covers up in a patterned chunky knit roll-neck jumper, which she coupled with wide-leg trousers and a wide-brimmed hat.

She looked fierce with a septum ring, smokey brown eyes and winged eye liner and wore her braided hair in two chunky plaits which reached down to her waist.

Get ahead of the game with a striped pullover like Zoe

With several hit movies under her belt and even more on the way, the future is looking bright for Zoe Kravitz. Then again, when your parents are Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, it's hard not to succeed in life.

The Dope star covered Nylon magazine's latest issue and heated up the pages in a series of denim looks. Here she wears a turtleneck sweater from Thakoon's Fall collection with a pair of high waisted jeans and a wide brim hat.

The classic Autumn wardrobe staple is given the luxe treatment with metallic stripes and criss cross embroidery. We'd team this top with a leather skirt and knee high boots during the cooler months.

The American star sticks with the jeans and wide-brimmed hat from her previous look, she spices up the outfit with a chunky belt and statement necklace.

But while Zoe is at home in her own skin nowadays she's had a tough time getting there, having struggled with bulimia and anorexia in her teens.

So much so, she says she was hesitant to take the role of Marie, a young woman with an eating disorder, in 2014's The Road Within.

'It scared the shit out of me,' Kravitz told Nylon Magazine. 'I was worried about my health. There was, 100 per cent, a voice in my head that said, "You get to be really thin, and it's OK." I felt that I could be like, "I'm not eating anything, and it's for a job."

'It wasn't as simple as that before, during, or after, but it made me confront the fact that I still had a problem,' she admits.

As a result of dropping down to a 'scarily thin' 90 pounds for the part, Kravitz got shingles and lost her voice.

'I couldn't sing, which was a wake-up call telling me that I couldn't treat my body that way and expect it to be fine. My hatred for my body and the way I looked was backfiring and taking away what I loved. I heard that so loud and clear,' she added.

Kravitz, who has dated the likes of Michael Fassbender and Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley, says she ultimately plans on stepping out of the spotlight to have a family.
