Stylish sisters Kara and Hannah Tointon slip into simple dresses as they enjoy a girls' night out at ITV summer party

There was no sibling rivalry as Kara and Hannah Tointon headed out to the annual ITV summer party on Thursday evening.

The stylish sisters - who are both successful actresses - turned heads as they showcased their individual styles in contrasting outfits at the star-studded bash in Notting Hill, London.

Kara - who is best known for playing Dawn Swann in EastEnders - opted for an all-nude ensemble which complemented her fair skin, while ex-Hollyoaks star Hannah made a statement in an electric blue dress.

Kara was a vision of sophistication in a cream fringed mini dress which rested high on her thighs, displaying her slender legs in all their toned and tanned glory.

The 31-year-old Mr Selfridge star colour-co-ordinated her whole look, opting for light brown suede courts and a matching leather handbag to finish it off.

Kara completed her look by wearing her ombre hair down around her shoulders and curled under at the ends.

Meanwhile, Hannah stood out in a brightly-coloured frock as she sauntered inside the bash with her doppelganger sister.

The 27-year-old stole the style limelight as she stormed into the West London venue in a bold column dress which featured two leg splits.

Hannah also colour-co-ordinated her summer-party outfit, opting to match her frock with a pair of blue heeled sandals.

The pretty brunette used the pavement as her catwalk, offering a flash of her sculpted legs as she headed to mingle with fellow ITV stars.

Hannah - who most recently played Violette Selfridge in period drama Mr Selfridge alongside her sister - carried an embellished box clutch and wore her hair scraped back and up.

Kara and Hannah played siblings for the first time earlier this year when they landed the roles of Rosalie and Violette Selfridge in the hit show.

Kara said in a recent interview with TV Times: 'They said we got the parts on our own merit. But I think the fact we’re sisters might have had a little, five per cent, influence, we’d be stupid to say otherwise!

'It’s been really fun. We spent the first few days laughing or in corners asking each other: "Did that go OK?" It’s just lovely

'Hannah being there and us having lunch together. It’s a one-off opportunity that probably won’t happen again and we probably won’t do it again, even though we’ve loved it.'
