Rosy cheeks and lashes that a model would kill for... so how HAS Petra's husband James Stunt gone from Berkshire boy to Made in Chelsea in just four years?

  • James Stunt, 33, has had a makeover since marrying Petra Ecclestone
  • Looked dapper and more fresh-faced than ever before at Hilton party
  • Married Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone's daughter in August 2011
  • The couple have three children: Lavinia, James Jr and Andrew

With her long blonde hair, golden glow and svelte shape, Petra Ecclestone, 26, looked every inch the yummy mummy as she arrived for Nicky Hilton's pre-wedding party last night.

But while the mother-of-three has barely changed in the four years since she married James Stunt in August 2011, the same cannot be said for her husband.

Once famous for favouring Essex boy staples such as caps and tango tans, last night saw the 33-year-old Berkshire-born businessman step out looking slicker than ever before.

Gone were the scruffy jeans of old and in their place a sharp suit. Topping it off was a sleek head of slicked back hair and a smattering of designer stubble.

The 33-year-old's complexion also appeared fresher than ever before, with the tan and more weather-beaten appearance of the past exchanged for smooth skin and rosy cheeks.

He also showed off a set of enviably long eyelashes, an impressively dark lashline and a set of neatly groomed eyebrows.

That the gambling and gold magnate should have changed so much in four years will come as a surprise to those who know him best as a bon viveur.

The owner of one of the top five collections of rare wine in the world, the father-of-three is famous for his taste for the finer things in life - not least his impressive fleet of super-cars.

Pictured showing off his latest model to Ben Goldsmith's wife Jemima last night, Mr Stunt clearly hasn't lost his appetite for all things automobile even if he has stepped up his beauty routine.

In total, the businessman is thought to have around 200 cars but spends most of his time driving around in one of his modified Rolls Royces - customised to to be both bullet and bomb proof.

But while Mr Stunt's appetite for luxury cars and fine wine is unchanged, his sartorial overhaul has been impressive.

Like Shane Warne, formerly better known for cricketing brilliance and for being an all-round Aussie bloke, Mr Stunt has sharpened up his look and become increasingly slick.

Mr Warne, once a champion of bright white sunscreen and scruffy caps, now boasts smooth well-moisturised skin and a wardrobe of sharp tailoring.

Witness Mr Stunt who, like Mr Warne, owns an enviable collection of suits and looks younger now than he did at his 2011 wedding.

Last week, at the christening of twin sons James Robert Fredrick Jr and Andrew Kulbir, he appeared looking smart in a navy blue number.

Smiling slightly as he carried one of his sons into St. Peter's Church in London, the 33-year-old appeared every inch the dapper dad.

More of the same can be expected when he and his wife Petra attend the wedding of Nicky Hilton and James Rothschild at the Kensington Palace Orangery tonight.

But whatever he wears, as last night's appearance proves, Mr Stunt is a man who really is comfortable in his own skin at last.
