From a new vase, to tools for DIY and parts to fix broken toys: Start-up brings 'affordable' 3D printing to the home
3D printing is taking the world by storm. Once securely in the realm of science fiction, printing in three dimensions is well on its way to being a standard household product. British company CEL is at the forefront of delivering 3D printing to the domestic market. The company's website states that their Robox 3D printer is for 'the small start-ups, artists, architects, hackers/makers and especially students and children'.

SIMON LAMBERT: How to spot a Greek euro note (again) - and why this old chestnut is a damning indictment of the eurozone crisis
The failure to deliver a proper solution to Greece should be a lesson for decades to come. I was reminded of that last week when a reader tweeted an old blog of mine. It showed how nothing has really changed since 2010. If your initial cure has spent the past five years making things worse, stop prescribing it.
'When mum died, Lloyds made the grief even harder to bear': Our writer's moving account of why big firms MUST change the insensitive way they treat bereaved families
Mum had been a customer at Lloyds Bank for around 25 years, writes VICTORIA BISCHOFF (pictured left with her mother Julie before her death in April). The staff in her local branch in Coventry knew her well, so they had recognised me the moment I came through the door. The woman behind the counter went pale. 'You're Julie's daughter, aren't you?' she said. 'I know what you're here to say.' Victoria is pictured right with her big sister Stephanie who died of skin cancer in May 2014.

British Gas engineer Sunny Solanky has helped provide annual services, manage breakdowns and deal with faults for the past seven years, he reveals five home pitfalls to avoid.
ED MONK: Do landlords really have a tax advantage? Yes and no - Will it be removed? No chance
Not everyone agrees there is a true advantage for landlords. That's because in another important way landlords pay more than the rest of us. Whatever you think, there will be no sudden removal of landlords tax breaks. Why? The answer is revealed in exchanges, conducted over the past year, between Mark Carney and George Osborne.
House hunters face smallest cuts to asking prices in five years - but buying agent says it's still worth making an offer... and here are his tips
Property hunters are finding haggling over price increasingly difficult with the average home carrying a reduction of just 6% from its original listing, Zoopla says. But buying agent Henry Pryor says people should not be afraid to make an offer - and gives us his tips.
Would you rather have a shoebox in London or a mansion in Wales? One square metre hits £12k in Kensington, as Britain's property divide spreads

MARKET REPORT: Double dose of positive news for smartphone makers leads to investors dialling for shares in chip maker Arm Holdings
It rang up a 2 per cent gain or 23p to 1148p on the back of news that Hong Kong-based FIH Mobile - maker of China's Xiaomi Corp smartphones - forecast that its profit will more than double. Prior to this, US investor Carl Icahn nailed his colours to the mast after pronouncing on Twitter that Apple shares are still worth buying. He sold out of Netflix yesterday, making a killing. He commented that, in his view, Apple shares currently represent the same opportunity he spotted at Netflix several years ago. Apple is a major customer of Arm so Icahn's backing for the US firm is a major boost.
Coining it for the Queen: How the £11bn Crown Estate makes a mint for the nation
The landlord and developer, which dates back to 1066, returns all profits to the Treasury which then dispenses 15 per cent of them to the monarchy through the Sovereign Grant. So a 6.7 per cent rise in annual profits to a record £285.1m for 2014-15 means the Royal Family will get a cut of £42.8m in 2016-17 - up £2.7m on the previous year.
ALEX BRUMMER: Why interest rates might have to rise faster than we think
For much of this year all the talk has been of deflation and the prospect of an interest rate rise retreated after six years at 0.5 per cent. As the jobless rate has come down, the labour market has tightened and increases in pay settlements and inflation-adjusted wages finally are coming through. Unemployment zipped down to 5.5 per cent of the workforce surprisingly rapidly though you might not have known it judging from the weekend march in London addressed by pop singer-cum-economic guru Charlotte Church (pictured).

Last Monday, millions of Nationwide customers were prevented from accessing their accounts via the internet. Downsizing to a smaller property? How to go about it and what to do with the furniture and possessions of your family home
Two million people over the age of 55 intend to raise money by downsizing to a smaller property. Some will move to one of the 610,000 homes in retirement communities sprinkled around the country. A sensible plan, but one which can cause logistical headaches. The furniture and possessions from a family home are unlikely to fit into a retirement apartment or cottage. So, what do you do?
Will your house be able to read your mood? Homes will change temperature, lighting, and suggest films to suit how you feel - and researchers say it's only a couple years off

When will interest rates rise? Deflation ends already but even an early 2016 rate rise remains 'touch and go'
Britain is out of its short-lived flirtation with deflation, with the consumer prices index up 0.1 per cent in the year to May, according to ONS figures.
