Heavily-bearded Daniel Radcliffe shares a joke with shaven-headed James McAvoy as they promote new film Victor Frankenstein

Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy looked perfectly at ease with each other as they continued to promote their new film Victor Frankenstein.

The two actors posed for a series of portraits together at Comic-Con International 2015 in San Diego, California, on Saturday. 

Daniel, 25, looked laid back in a grey, button-down T-shirt and relaxed blue jeans.

The Harry Potter star opted for a pair of cream trainers and ensured all eyes were on him by sporting a thick beard. 

Meanwhile, James, 36, cut a more mature figure as he smiled and joked with the camera. 

With his head still shaved from playing Professor X in X-Men, the Scottish star looked smart in a navy long-sleeved top, grey skinny jeans and polished brown shoes.  

James plays young medical student Frankenstein in the retelling of Mary Shelley's Gothic novel.

Daniel will be seen as Igor, Frankenstein's troubled young assistant.

A summary on IMDb about the film states: 'Told from Igor's perspective, we see the troubled young assistant's dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man - and the legend - we know today.'

Other notable cast members include Jessica Brown Findlay, Andrew Scott and Mark Gattis. 

The film will be released in the UK on September 25 and on October 2 in the US.
