UFC stars gather in Las Vegas for pool party as the excitement builds ahead of Conor McGregor's title fight against Chad Mendes
- Celebrities and fighters attended the UFC International Fight Week Pool Party at Liquid Pool, Las Vegas on Friday
- Fighters Urijah Faber, Joseph Benavidez, Tyron Woodley and Luke Rockhold were among the UFC stars at the event
- The UFC Octagon girls also attended the party which precedes 'UFC 189: Mendes vs McGregor' on Saturday
Stars of the UFC gathered in Las Vegas as anticipation hit fever pitch ahead of Conor McGregor's featherweight title fight against Chad Mendes.
Among the fighters who gathered for the infamous Sin City pool parties were Urijah Faber, Demetrious Johnson, Rashad Evans and Luke Rockhold.
They were joined by the Octagon girls and Barcelona superstar Neymar who endured a disappointing Copa America with Brazil when he was sent off against Colombia.
As many as 2,500 Irish fans have descended on the desert to watch McGregor continue his rise through the ranks.
The Dubliner had been due to face champion Jose Aldo but the Brazilian pulled out with a rib injury.
McGregor and Mendes will therefore fight for the interim title with the winner set to face Aldo later in the year.
