Ben Affleck had his wedding ring back on as he was seen spending some alone time in Atlanta on Thursday.

The actor, who has been hit by cheating claims this week, continues to be near ex Jennifer Garner and their children while she films her latest movie, just one week after confirming their impending divorce.

The 42-year-old initially removed his wedding band after the couple announced their split, but it was seen on his left hand as he visited the Center for Civil and Human Rights.

Ben will be heading to Comic-Con this weekend to promote Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, according to Deadline.

His outing comes after fresh reports claim tension between the couple was mostly the result of the actor's inability to take control of his vices, mainly women, alcohol and at times, gambling. (A spokesperson for Affleck had no comment when contacted by DailyMail.com on Wednesday.)

The actor had a 'candid conversation' with his wife where he admitted he had not been 'committed to the marriage in the last few years', People reported on Wednesday.

The magazine added his alleged womanising was a big factor in 43-year-old Garner's decision, with a source saying: 'There comes a time when enough is enough.' The publication reported that Affleck has denied being unfaithful.

Another insider was less delicate with their wording, telling Us Weekly: 'The reason they split is because of Ben's drinking and his infidelities.'

Soon Ben will be heading to San Diego, California for Comic-Con to promote Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, where he is expected to make his first public appearance since announcing his split.

After weeks of speculation Affleck and Garner made known their separation in a joint statement on June 30: 'After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce.

'We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.

'This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding.'

Jennifer is currently shooting her new film Miracles from Heaven in Georgia, and has brought the entire family along to continue normalcy.

A source tells the DailyMail.com that Ben is there to try to ensure Jen and him remain a family even if they are getting divorced, for the sake of their kids: nine-year-old Violet, six-year-old Seraphina and three-year-old Samuel.

Before Atlanta, the Affleck-Garner brood spent possibly their last family vacation in late June.

The estranged couple spent their 10-year wedding anniversary in the Bahamas at the lavish Baker's Bay Golf and Ocean Club on June 28.

The duo, who met on the set of Pearl Harbor in 2001 before falling in love during the filming of 2003's Daredevil, were married in June 2005 while the actress was already pregnant with Violet.

And amid his marital woes, Ben 'is teaming up with Geoff Johns to co-write a stand-alone Batman movie that Affleck will direct and star in,' according to Deadline.

His work continues to be booming as he is expected to start directing in November for the scripted adaptation of the Dennis Lehane novel Live By Night.

In addition, Ben also has Justice League in the production pipeline, which is already slated for November 17, 2017.
