Jessica Alba spends quality time with her family as she supports eldest child Honor for her stage debut

She had just returned from a magical trip to Paris, to spend some quality time with her family.

On Saturday, the chipper 34-year-old indulged in a day with her husband Cash Warren, 36, and their daughter Haven, nearly four, in West Hollywood.

The happy family did not appear to be joined by eldest daughter Honor, seven, who seems to be following in her mother's footsteps by appearing in her first play.

Of course, Jessica and the others did not miss the big event.

For their walk, however, Jessica kept her cool in a pair of perforated white shorts that were teamed with a slouchy grey tank top.

She jazzed up the summery look with hard-to-miss violet sunglasses, while finishing off the ensemble with pristine white trainers.

The actress held her little girl's hand, who gleefully grinned while wearing a daisy yellow dress.

Jessica fussed over her daughter and appeared to retrieve a bubble gum pink water bottle from her hands.

Cash grinned from ear-to-ear and carried a sheet of paper, which he at one point handed over to his wife of seven years.

That same day, Jessica, Cash, and Haven rallied together to support Honor as she performed in her first play.

Proud father Cash took to Instagram to remember the event with a photo, which he captioned: 'Just finished watching my big girl in her first summer play. Nothing cuter than seeing kids forget their lines.'

Jessica also showed off her support when she shared the same photo on Instagram.

Previously, the star has spoken about how raising her two young daughters inspired her to set up her organisation, The Honest Company.

'[People] usually thought of someone in my position as more of a spokesperson, someone that would sell beauty products,' she said during a talk at the Global Conference on Women and Entrepreneurship in China in May.

'Most of my advisors in entertainment thought I should do a perfume or something like that.'

In addition to a career in business, Jessica will continue to be a presence on the big screen.

The actress is slated to appear in the forthcoming 2015 films The Veil and Dear Eleanor, as well as Mechanic: Resurrection, which will hit cinemas in 2016.
