DUST yourself off! Kanye West arrives in London... after being widely mocked for bizarre self-styled Kim Kardashian photoshoot on a heap of dirt

Kanye West wasn't going to let his ego be bruised by the critique of his recent self-styled Kim Kardashian photo shoot.

The Yeezus singer - who's widely regarded for having a pretty high opinion of himself - held his head high as he arrived in London on Thursday night, amidst an onslaught of abuse about the bizarre images.

Emerging designer Kanye, 38, left Paris for the British capital earlier this week and dipped his toe straight into the local culture by paying a visit to Bradley Cooper's Elephant Man in the West End.

While art is widely regarded as a subjective form, Kanye's critics were quick to brand his work 'awful' and 'not sexy'.

The images, photographed by Juergen Teller, see Kanye's curvaceous wife Kim reclining seductively against a heap of dirt near the Château d'Ambleville in France.

Shot in the spring time during her platinum hair phase, Kim wears a nude bodysuit with an unflattering gold bra and sheer suspenders with heeled boots.

Put your best foot forward in lace-up Alaïa boots like Kim

From Paper to Love magazine, reality TV star turned fashionista, Kim Kardashian, has had her fair share of raunchy magazine shoots. But even this is a first for Kim.

Posing for System magazine and styled by her hubby Kanye, Kim sported a nude body stocking teamed with a gold bra, black hold-ups and some Alaia lace-up booties to lie in a mountain of mud… as you do.

We reckon this shoot must have been done back at Paris Fashion Week, going by Kim’s peroxide locks, but has only just been released.

Whilst we can’t say we’re coveting Kim’s (let’s face it) bizarre look here, we do love her black cut-out booties. Designed by Alaia, these boots would have set Kim back $2701- we really do wish she’d get them out of the dirt!

Now sold out, you can’t get Kim’s exact boots, but click right to shop the current Alaia collection at Net-a-Porter. Alternatively, take your pick from our edit below, including picks from Jeffrey Campbell and Guess.

Wear with a LBD for a night out with the girls, or team with a midi for a ladylike look with an edge.

Kanye has just returned from Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week AW16, where he hobnobbed with Hollywood royalty Tilda Swinton and designer Haider Ackermann.

He has been trying to establish himself as a serious fashion designer since 2009 when he completed an internship program with Italian fashion house Fendi, which reportedly involved coffee runs.

The rap artist debuted his first womenswear collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2012 though the Wall Street Journal slammed the line for its heavy likeness to previous season Givenchy.

Kanye was again criticised when he recruited faithful wife Kim to model for his capsule collection with adidas Originals in February 2015.

The All Day hitmaker dressed curvy Kim in an unflattering nude body stocking for the New York Fashion Week AW15 catwalk show named adidas Originals x Kanye West.

Fashion publicist Kelly Catrone said at the time: 'I’m not into his fashion thing. I think he’s fine as a rapper. I think he’s a joke as a fashion designer.

'I just think that you should stay focused at what you’re good at. Just because you’re a good rapper doesn’t mean you’re going to be a good fashion designer.'

During a speech to the students of Oxford University in March, Kanye said: 'My goal, if I was going to do art, fine art, would have been to become Picasso or greater…

'That always sounds so funny to people, comparing yourself to someone who has done so much, and that’s a mentality that suppresses humanity…'

The rap artist has in the past been heavily criticised as delusional and confesses to having an inflated ego when it comes to his own creativity.
