What to buy the woman who has everything for her birthday? A T-shirt with her topless fiancé emblazoned across it, of course.

That's clearly what Sofia Vergara's nearest and dearest were thinking when they put their heads together ahead of the Modern Family star's 43rd birthday, which she celebrated on Friday.

The Colombian actress was gifted with a plain white tee which featured her 38-year-old beau Joe Manganiello standing preened and proud in centaur form.

And she seemed delighted with it.

The brunette beauty slipped the T-shirt on over her gorgeous yellow birthday dress and posed for photos with a giant grin on her face as she enjoyed her special day with loved ones.

Sadly, she did away with the novelty gift to blow out the candles on her lavish two-tiered birthday cake shorty after she and her party guests were serenaded by a live band.

Sofia positively radiated happiness as she and her family enjoyed a sumptuous dinner at her home in Los Angeles.

And the 43-year-old couldn't resist sharing the evening with her 4.3 million followers on Instagram.

Sofia posted a number of snaps, starting with one taken at the start of the evening as she stood in her garden with her hunky beau, who lovingly kissed her hair.

The beautiful actress wore a long yellow dress with a wrap detail at the bust that showed off her ample assets, while Joe looked dapper in a brown shirt and black trousers.

The couple stood between two braziers that lit them to perfection as the sun went down. She gleefully captioned it: 'Happy bdaaaay to me!!!'

An inside shot showed her beautiful dining table covered in a gold cloth and laid out with gold charger plates and candelabra, as Sophia waited for her guests to arrive. 'Little family bday dinner at hm!!' she explained.

A third picture showed Sofia smiling as she stood next to a table with six yummy birthday cakes, which she captioned: 'When your family knows what to get u for ur bday!!!!'

The Hot Pursuit star also shared a photo with her family as they sat around another beautifully laid table by the pool.

Sofia got a special gift from her 22-year-old son, Manolo Gonzalez - a black glass goblet with the words 'Birthday Girl' picked out in pink.

Manolo's father is her childhood sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez, who she married in 1991 when she was just 18. They split up in 1993.

The couple are presently planning their wedding and if it's anything like Sofia's birthday party it will be a lavish event.

Joe revealed in an interview with Haute Living that he's more than ready to tie the knot, saying: 'I can’t wait to get married and start a family. It’s something that we talked about very early on.'

The romantic hunk proposed on Christmas Day while they were on the Hawaiian island of Kauai after just six months together. And he said he had never been so certain of anything in his life.

'We had this big bay window (that I opened up), and the sun was going down pink over the mountains and over the bay, and I had this ring.

'I had looked at every ring in the world, and this is the ring that I wanted. I had a whole speech prepared in Spanish. I proposed to her on one knee in Spanish with the sun going down. It was awesome.'
