Sister of the bride Paris Hilton looks a little less than comfortable as a guest holds her arm and gets up close and personal the morning after the wedding of the year.
It has all the hallmarks of the awkward 'when's it your turn?' moment that anyone who has watched a younger relative get married will have had to endure at some point in their lives.
Older sister Paris, 34, watched Nicky Hilton, 31, walk down the aisle with her financier husband James Rothschild, 31, at a lavish ceremony in Kensington Palace yesterday.
Your turn next: Paris looks awkward as she is surrounded by guests after watching her younger sister tie the knot at Kensington Palace yesterday
Deep conversation: The guest continues to stay close to Paris who looks almost under siege in the busy marquee
Nod and smile: Paris continues to wear her sunglasses and talk to the guest at the post-wedding luncheon where guests catch up
Still going: The conversation seems never ending but Paris is smiley as she clutches her bag in a sizzling blue and black-lace dress
Soulmates: Paris put a picture of her and boyfriend Thomas Gross on Instagram with the caption 'soulmates', leading many followers to speculate over whether this could be 'the one'
The older guest stands just inches away from Paris, grasping her arm and then holding her closely in an exchange that looks as though she may be offering some valuable life advice.
And Paris, who is one of very few guest wearing sunglasses, seems to nod politely as usual wedding etiquette dictates when dealing with such an exchange.
But it's just days after the 34-year-old publicly gushed over her new love Thomas Gross, saying that they are 'soulmates'.
She posted a picture of herself and her new man on Instagram, captioning it 'soulmates', as she enjoyed London in the run up to the big day.
At the post-wedding lunch, she wore a blue dress with black lace and a red strike as she entertained the guest after beging bridesmaid at her sister's wedding the day before.
The wedding party looked remarkably fresh given that the party at Kensington Palace's Orangery went on until 2am, with DJ Kayper, who has played dance sets all over the world, including at Ministry of Sound in London.
Newlywed Nicky wore a sleek, white, pleated dress and looked immaculate as she returned to the elite venue while the steel drum band played in the background and the sun shone.
Husband James arrived to greet the guest in a white checked shirt and jeans as he sipped a glass of wine while chatting to guests.

It followed a lavish day that started at Claridge's the day before before the wedding party moved on to Kensington Palace which was closed to the public until 2am for what is likely to be one of the most elite weddings of the year.
On the royal front there was Crown Prince Pavlos and Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, along with pals of royals such as the new godfather to Princess Charlotte, Thomas van Straubenzee.
New York society was also well represented, with Page Six reporting that Steve Schwarzman, Julia Koch, Debbie Bancroft, Dennis Basso, Somers Farkas, Harry LeFrak, Anne Hearst and Jay McInerney were among those in attendance.
Also there was Chelsea Clinton and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky.

Time to dance? Nicky Hilton seems to be getting into the swing of things at the post-wedding luncheon, but everyone else looks quite happy sitting down
As for those reality stars, Nicky's aunt Kyle Richards was there with husband Mauricio Umansky and their children, who are all part of Bravo's hugely successful Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
And Rich Kids of Instagram star Dorothy Wang and pal Ezra William were also in attendance.
Nicky and her sister Paris are no strangers to reality television themselves, having starred in a variety of reality programs over the course of their lives.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell reportedly stopped by for the party, and actress and long time Hilton family friend Bijou Phillips also showed up for the big day.
Nicky wore a £50,000 Valentino couture dress with a lengthy train, which was worn with a traditional lace veil under which a sleek blonde up-do could just about be seen. She also carried a bouquet of white roses - seen earlier being carried into the hotel by an aide.
But it landed her in a spot of bother more than once after she tangled with a Bentley that parked on the train and later her hemline rode as high as spirits as a team of staff helped her look perfect at Kensington Palace.

Escorted out of the hotel by her father, the hotel heiress had a brief scare when she tripped over her train as she got into her car but managed to hold herself up and made it into the vehicle without losing her dignity.
With Miss Hilton was older sister and chief bridesmaid Paris, 34, who was dressed in a floor-length periwinkle blue gown with a glittery silver belt and carried a delicate bouquet.
Earlier, dressed in a chic blue maxi dress, sparkling high heels and a huge broad-brimmed hat, Paris arrived at London hotel Claridge's to help her sister prepare for her marriage to banking heir James Rothschild, 31.
The suit that James Rothschild got married in was a bespoke charcoal grey wedding suit, made of British cloth by the Savile Row tailor Huntsman. The blue dinner jacket he wore for the festivities was also made bespoke by Huntsman. Both took between three and four months to make.
Also seen making preparations was mother of the bride Kathy Hilton who was seen leaving the hairdressers and emerged from Claridge's tonight in a pale blue number with a heavily embroidered hem.
Earlier, enormous bunches of white peonies and crates of champagne were seen being carried into the wedding venue, the Orangery at Kensington Palace, by staff.

Congratulations: Guests sip champagne and congratulate the newlyweds on their special day after tying the know
Other black-clad helpers were seen arriving at Claridge's, a hotel that has been dubbed 'the annexe to Buckingham Palace' thanks to its royal connections, clutching the bridal bouquets.
A handout given to Kensington Palace staff, obtained exclusively by MailOnline, shows the true extravagance of the wedding, but also the eccentricity of certain parts that marry the cultures of the English groom and American bride.
The luxurious day started at 11am for Kensington Palace staff when the wedding party arrived at Kensington Palace for a rehearsal before heading to Claridge's.
The groom and ushers arrived at 5.15pm and met with registrars before the actual ceremony began at 6pm, when guests were seated in The Orangery of the palace which was closed to the public for the whole evening. The bride and groom left the ceremony at 6.20pm when the lavish celebrations begun.
Guests were called into the Lawn Marquee for what started out as a very English affair, to reflect the groom's nationality, soon to be followed by a more American theme as the blushing bride brought the some home cuisine to the table.
Guests were served drinks form the cocktail list first, which included the English Garden, made from gin, elderflower, lemon apple, mint, and the Pine and Dandy, with vodka, lime, ginger, pineapple and rosemary.
Fixing up: The long train landed the bride in trouble more than once throughout the day. While being fixed up by a host of staff, her hemline rides as high as spirits on the day

The English theme continued with the canapés, which included tiny Cumberland sausages with a mustard mash dip, baked potatoes with caviar, and foie gras to complete the menu of elaborate starters. They were served at 8pm following 15 minutes of speeches from father of the bride Richard Hilton, groom James Rothschild and the Best Man.
There was a photobooth set up in The Orangery so the high-profile guests would have some amusing memories of what is likely to be the wedding of the year.
For the main courses, served at 8.45pm caterers, By Word Of Mouth, straddled both sides of the Atlantic, serving crab and lobster Louis with tomato and horseradish, Hereford beef with a copper pot of petit pois 'a la Francais', rosemary roasted new potatoes and tied baby vegetables. Also on offer was summer her risotto and roasted basil and pesto tart with Mozarella.
A pudding bar served 13 different dishes, including cheesecake, peach and raspberry trifles and Pimms jelly with strawberries, green apple foam and mint cress, and English classic desert rhubarb and custard; almond milk purée with rhubarb compote, champagne foam and a cinnamon beiget. There was also mango compote with vanilla yoghurt cream, muscovado sugar and mango crisps.
But after the dinner, the menu crossed the Atlantic, with skinny fries in 'small silver pots' being served, beef sliders with American cheese and a spiced tomato relish, macaroni and cheese, and mini pizzas on offer to the elite guests. There were also miniature key lime pies and 'Dominique Ansel' cookie shots with a Bailey's milkshake, from an artisan French baker based in New York.
The guests partied into the early hours of the morning but returned to the venue for a post-wedding luncheon today, which seemed to have a Carribean feel, with a steel drum band and chillies and limes stacked up near the dinging area.
