'It's the time you put in then that matters now': Ailing Yolanda Foster shares sweet throwback photo with her three children

Yolanda Foster continues to post inspirational messages on her Instagram account as she battles Lyme disease.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared a throwback picture Sunday of herself with her three children on holiday in Holland in 1999.

The reality star is suggesting that how she raised her offspring in their younger more formative years is one of the reasons she's so proud of them know.

Yolanda, of course, is mom to models Gigi, 20, and Bella Hadid, 18, and son Anwar, 16, an aspiring music producer - all from her first marriage to property tycoon Mohamed Hadid.

The couple were married from 1994 to 2000.

In 2011, she tied the knot with music producer David Foster, who was previously married to Linda Thompson, the second wife of Caitlyn (formerly Bruce) Jenner.

In the vintage snap, Yolanda is seen with her blonde hair tucked under a white cap smiling at the camera as she sits on a bench with her arms around her little ones.

In the background there's a river and windmills.

Gigi and Bella are both dressed in white t-shirts and white capri pants while Anwar, a toddler, has on a blue romper suit.

Yolanda, who was born in The Netherlands, was a successful model before settling in California to start a family.

She went on to run a company that helps men and women with their romantic relationships.

In 2012, she joined the cast of Bravo's real housewives of Beverly Hills but shortly afterwards came down with Lyme disease.

The mother-of-three is now focusing her energy on raising awareness of the condition through various avenues, including social media.

Her search for relief from the debilitating symptoms, which she said in January have left her unable to read or write or watch TV, have led her to take sessions in a hyperbaric chamber.

In recent days she's posted on Instagram: 'Life is not about who's real to your face, it's about who is real behind your back......' and 'once you choose hope anything is possible.'
