Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer was arrested on Sunday for allegedly assaulting a boy at a beach.

Kromer, 48, was arrested on Sunday morning at 2 a.m. in Walton, Florida, on a misdemeanor battery charge and transported and booked into the Walton County Jail. He was released on bond about an hour later, authorities said.

According to The Walton County Sheriff's Office Kromer got into a confrontation with three boys over the use of beach chairs near an access point for Inlet Beach in Florida. 

The boys told deputies how Kromer became angry about them fishing and using the chairs.

Kromer then grabbed their fishing pole and threw it into the water and then pushed one of the boys to the ground and punched him in the face.

A police report also revealed that the victim said Kromer told him if he reported him to the police he would 'kill his family.'

In a statement released on Facebook, police said: 'Deputies from Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on Winston lane at Inlet Beach in Walton County, Florida in reference to a battery.

'When they arrived deputies spoke to the caller and learned three boys had been fishing on the beach when the suspect, later identified as Buffalo Bills Offensive Line Coach Aaron Kromer, and the suspect's son confronted them over the use of beach chairs left by a beach access.

The Walton County Sheriff's Office will continue to investigate the allegations and additional charges may be filed. 

Walton County Sheriff Michael A. Adkinson Jr. said the case is currently under investigation.

In a written statement, the Bills said, 'We are aware of the report and in the process of gathering the facts.'
