The Newsroom actress says getting into her latex, skin-tight outfit each day is no easy feat.

Explaining the costume-fitting procedure, which is only possible with the help of two female assistants, she told Conan: 'They lube me down and I step into this latex fitting. They lubricate the costume and they lubricate me.'

After her appearance on the show Olivia changed into a black jumpsuit before joining the 20th Century FOX panel at the main event.

Last month Olivia proved that, just like her character, she has the real-life ability for conquering evil after sharing a video of herself skilfully swinging a Samurai sword.

She is honing the art of the Samurai for her upcoming role as Psylocke and it's no farce - she actually has some serious skills.

The actress took to Instagram to show off her sword slashing expertise, and she's so good that it's feasible she will perform many of her scenes without the help of a stunt double.

She captioned the video: 'Learned some new tricks...'

Little is known about the plot of the film, but Singer told Entertainment Weekly: 'It will address historical mutant-cy, meaning the deep past, mutant origins and things like that. It’s something that's always intrigued me when we think about our Gods and our history and miracles and powers.'

Munn will star in the coming superhero flick alongside James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Oscar Isaac, Rose Byrne and many others.

This will be the first time that Munn's character will have made the jump from comic book to silver screen.

High expectations:  In the Marvel universe Psylocke is originally named Betsy Braddock, who was a purple-haired model until she started developing telepathic powers. Once her psychic ability fully manifested, the superhero was able to relay the power into her sword, making it able to slice through almost any physical matter
