Chris Evans resembles a Cheshire cat with his two-toned hair

Some would say he's had nine lives when it comes to his broadcast career and today Chris Evans resembled a cat in another way - with his two-toned hair.

Sporting a ginger and blonde-coloured coiffeur, the 43-year-old presenter looked happy as he headed to the BBC radio studios in London.

The normally-gingered hair Chris has possessed a shade of white up top recently, but it looks like his former colour is making a return - albeit in patches.

The presenter's fortune has taken an upswing in the past 12 months after years in the showbusiness wilderness.

He first came to national prominence as the presenter on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast but his tenure as host of Radio 1's breakfast show ended in him asking boss Matthew Bannister to fire him and then 'resigning' on air.

However the now mellow Chris has become a father to eight-month-old Noah, just released his autobiography entitled It's Not What You Think and will be taking over from Terry Wogan's breakfast show in the new year.
