Angelina Jolie launches snake-themed charity jewellery collection

With six children to care for and an A-list acting career, it wouldn't be surprising if Angelina Jolie felt there weren't enough hours in the day.

But somehow the globe-trotting actress has found the time to design a charity jewellery collection.

The Protector Collection for Asprey will raise money for the Education Partnership For Children Of Conflict, with 100 per cent of the net profits going to the fund.

The designs are based around a typically Angelina theme - with each of the pieces featuring serpents.

They are inspired by a snake ring given to the mother-of-six during her pregnancy with daughter Shiloh.

She was told it would protect her unborn child.

Money raised will go to help children in conflict receive an education.

'Every child has a right to an education,' said Angelia, whose Jolie-Pitt foundation with partner Brad Pitt donated $1million to the cause last year.

Angelina's youngest daughter Vivienne, 18 months, has been spotted wearing a bracelet from the collection, which also features children's necklaces, rings, earrings and adult pieces.
