And while she cut a more relaxed figure than her on-screen persona, Jordana Brewster still managed to sizzle sartorially in the LA heat on Sunday - baring her legs in a pair of denim shorts.

The 35-year-old actress was seen rocking a relaxed look as she checked up on the construction of her new home in Santa Monica with her husband, Andrew Form, and various family members.

Keeping the theme of her outfit dressed-down, the Home Sweet Hell star looked relaxed yet stylish in her casual ensemble.

The American actress wore a pair of distressed denim shorts that allowed the mother-of-one to showcase her tanned and toned legs.

Teaming her shorts with a ice-blue shirt, the star looked as if she was enjoying the downtime with her family.

Keeping to her casual summer style, Jordana finished her outfit off with a pair of chunky, strappy sandals.

Whilst she kept her style credentials on par with a pair of funky, orange spectacles that oozed a geek-chic vibe.

Wearing her raven hair loose and slightly toussled, Jordana looked the very definition of a mother enjoying a quiet Sunday with her family.

As well as being accompanied by her movie producer husband, The Fast & Furious 7 star brought her father, Alden and sister, Isabella, along to the site.

And while the family home isn't quite ready for the family-of-three to move into, Jordana looked pleased with the progress of the build.

Taking to Instagram earlier on in the day, the brunette beauty shared a picture of her waiting family with her 1million followers.

Jordana Brewster embraces geek chic at Chinese Theater

Jordana has become synonymous with the Fast & Furious brand, and like co-star Vin Diesel, she was left devastated by the death of her on-screen husband Paul Walker.

Speaking about the loss of Paul - who tragically in 2013 - she told Cosmopolitan: 'It's the most difficult, intense thing I've ever been through.

'We shared so many years of friendship, and he embraced life so much.'

And while the Paul's death clearly had a profound effect on Jordana, the leggy Latina has just started filming a brand-new series, American Crime Story.

The show is an anthology series that is centered around some of history's most famous criminals - including the now infamous OJ Simpson trial.

The project has attracted a whole host of names including David Schwimmer, John Travolta and Cuba Gooding Jr..
