But when it comes to the Kardashians, the rivalry is more about style than anything else.

On Friday, Kendall and Kylie Jenner were spotted shopping in West Hollywood in competing crop tops.

The sisters, who are only two years apart with 17-year-old Kylie being the youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, both made sure to catch attention.

Kendall, 19, wore a high-waisted pink skirt and matching crop top as she pinned her brunette locks back into a high pony tail.

While Kylie wore the same outfit seen in a series of selfies she took earlier that day. The budding fashion icon debuted her new ice blue tresses at the launch of Bellami Beauty Bar in West Hollywood on Thursday.

The Kardashian/Jenners know a thing or two about beauty which is why it was no surprise when Kylie Jenner showed up to the launch of Bellami Beauty Bar looking flawless with her new pastel hued locks.

But the new 'do certainly didn't distract from the quirky teen's vintage inspired look. Her camel toned suede crop top and matching pants were bang on trend with their 70s retro vibe.

Swap out the coordinating trousers with a pair of stovepipe jeans and ankle boots and you've got another winning look.

Her striking new look was the main-talking point of the glitzy event, and she treated fans to another glimpse on Instagram on Friday.

Kylie shared a number of obligatory selfies to showcase her new look while posing on a hotel balcony.

The reality TV star - who is set to launch her own beauty blog - showed off her flawlessly made-up face as she looked into the camera for two snaps.

She also showcased her fabulous figure in a beige suede two piece, which put her toned stomach on display.

Speaking to E! about her new look at the red carpet event on Thursday, the adventurous teen explained: 'I just wanted to do something different and fun, and I haven't switched it up in [a while] so... I'm just having fun. It took a while, so it's kind of crazy but it's fun.'

The jumpsuit had a '70s feel to it, with flared trousers that covered her metallic gold heels.
