JLS madness! Girl hides in zipped up holdall in dangerous attempt to meet her idols

A female fan risked suffocation in a failed bid to meet her idols JLS - by hiding inside a zipped holdall.

The desperate girl climbed inside the luggage and had a friend leave it at the boyband's hotel.

But minutes before it was loaded into their tour bus an eagle-eyed security guard spotted the bag moving - and opened it to find the dazed girl inside.

After half an hour squeezed into the tiny space the sweaty girl was close to unconsciousness, and had to be helped out. 

But despite her risky bid to meet JLS she was out of luck - the band had already left in their cars.

Had she remained in the bag, she would have been loaded onto the tour bus, then taken to the airport.

A source told the Sun: 'It's getting to the point where the fanaticism is dangerous. This girl was so meticulous she had brought along her own luggage to match the lads normally use.'

The girl, who was wearing a JLS T-shirt, was close to fainting when she was discovered.

'She was distraught but managed to slip away, pretending she needed the toilet.'

The girl had planned her stunt after spending hours watching the band's hotel.

In Birmingham last week more than 30,000 fans turned up to watch JLS switching on the Christmas lights - causing security concerns and forcing the band to flee.
