Southampton make £10m bid for Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie as Ronald Koeman looks to replace Morgan Schneiderlin

Feyenoord are holding out for £15million as Southampton step up their attempts to land Jordy Clasie.
The Saints have tabled a £10m offer for the Holland international, but have been told to stump up more cash.
The offer comprises of £8m in cash plus a further £2m in performance-related add-ons.

Talks between both clubs are ongoing and Southampton remain determined to complete a deal for the midfielder.
The Saints are facing up to life without key midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, who has joined Manchester United.
And manager Ronald Koeman has moved to replace the France international with countryman Clasie.
Southampton are expected to improve their offer in the next 24 hours.

Clasie was left out of Feyenoord's pre-season friendly against Fortuna Dusseldorf on Sunday, adding to speculation he is set leave the Eredivise club.
The 24-year-old, who captains Feyenoord, has 11 caps for Holland.
Koeman turned to Clasie after first-choice target Grzegorz Krychowiak, who plays for Sevilla, turned down a move to St Mary's.
