Kanye West manages to behave  himself after meeting Janet Jackson on his return to the red carpet

By Daily Mail Reporter

Shamed rapper Kanye West's self-imposed isolation following the MTV Video Music Awards debacle seems to be well and truly over.

The rapper who interrupted singer Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the VMAs looked suitably contrite as he posed for pictures with his buxom model girlfriend Amber Rose at the amFAR (Foundation for Aids Research) event in Milan last night.

Seen standing behind Janet Jackson, sister of late superstar Michael, the rapper managed to quell any inappropriate urges, such as maybe to proclaim her sister LaToya as 'the best Jackson sister of all time.'

Restraining order:  Kanye West managed to keep his foot out of his mouth as he and girlfriend Amber Rose posed with Janet Jackson and Tomas Maier, creative director of Bottega Veneta. Here we imagine what might have been going through the rapper's mind at the amFar event in Milan last night

But as Janet looked a million dollars when she rubbed shoulders with designer Donatella Versace, and the cream of Milan's fashion pack during its Fashion Week last night, he would have been just as wrong as when he ruined the 19-year old country singer's big night.

Kanye, 32, and Amber Rose, 26, attended the annual amFAR (Foundation for Aids Research) event at La Permanent, where they posed with Janet, 43, who was sat next to designer Giuseppe Zanotti, dressed in a figure-hugging midnight blue Versace gown.

Donatella, 54, designed outfits for the entire Jackson family to wear at Michael Jackson's public memorial this summer.

The fashion designer threw a huge dinner part for 150 family and friends earlier in the evening, including Janet, 43, and her beau Jermaine Dupri.

The couple were rumoured to have split earlier in the summer, but their trip to Italy suggests they have reconciled.

Janet recently praised the fashionista in an interview, saying: 'Donatella is just a sweet, nurturing woman.'

Earlier this month it emerged Madonna and Janet have held talks about working on a song together.

Over dinner at Butter in New York, the pair were overheard discussing how to honour Michael by 'doing something together'.

Earlier Janet and Madonna, 51, had been hanging out together at the MTV VMAs, where they were seen hugging one another.

Speaking backstage just after her tribute to Michael, Madonna told the Daily Mirror: 'Now I've finally had a chance to say farewell to my dear friend.

'I can now say I have paid my respects to Michael. That's why I'm here. To say good-bye.'

She added: 'And Janet's performance was amazing - just the perfect tribute to her brother.'

Wardrobe malfunction: French model Noemie Lenoir flashes the crowd

Other VIPs at the amFAR event last night included striptease artiste Dita Von Teese, Canadian model Linda Evangelista, American actress Rachel Bilson and English socialite Tamara Beckwith.

Meanwhile French Marks & Spencer model Noemie Lenoir kept the crowd entertained as she revealed a little too much when the zip on her dress broke on stage.

But being a lingerie model, the 30-year-old managed to shrug it off and appeared non plussed by showing off her nude coloured thong.
