Chloe Madeley has released a set of pictures showing how she gained a six pack in just four months thanks to a 12 week fat loss plan.

It is the latest stage in her weight loss journey, which started a few years ago when she started dating a personal trainer called Danny Young.

Now in a relationship with rugby player James Haskell, Chloe has become heavily involved in fitness and regularly posts pictures on her Instagram page about her diet or exercise regime.

In a build-up to a photo shoot, the 28 year old does cardio training before breakfast and lifts weights every evening.

Chloe's diet is 100 per cent clean, starting the day with oats and protein and eating lean meats and vegetables for the remainder of the day, along with five litres of water.

This regime is stuck to every day unless she is on holiday, when she allows herself cheat meals or ahead of a photo shoot when she will drop her calories intake to as little as 1,500 calories a day.

Along with comments on her Instagram page about healthy living, Chloe has become a target for trolls because of her semi-naked selfies, where she uploads pictures of herself in underwear or bikinis.

Even reality star Katie Hopkins waded in, telling her father Richard Madely on Twitter: 'B**ody hell @richardm56 - have a word with your daughter love. Tell her to put it away, or put some clothes on it.'

Recently, the abuse became so severe that Richard decided to step in and tweet about his daughter.

The former This Morning presenter tweeted his pride over his daughter's fitness prowess, saying that she 'eats like a horse and trains like an Olympian.'

The 59-year-old added: 'I am VERY proud of her. Her critics have zero conception of what she stands for.'

Chloe, who now boasts her own fitness website to help motivate others, blogs on the site Fitness Fondue about her weight loss.

But despite her pride at her super-slim figure, Chloe admits that she often has moments of doubt about her appearance, including at a recent photo shoot when she felt that she wasn't slim enough.

Speaking on the blog, she said: 'What I have done to my body over the last 3 years is nothing short of amazing, and even though I wasn’t SUPER lean, I looked similar to a super hero.

'All I could think about is where I started, where I was a year later, where I was in Feburary and where I am now.

'Screw being lean, I have progressed phenomenally, and I have progressed because I work HARD and I DON’T give up.'
