He hasn't been linked to anyone since his divorce from model Agyness Deyn was granted in February.

But Giovanni Ribisi has clearly moved on since he was putting on a loving display with a mystery woman in Los Feliz, California on Sunday.

The 40-year-old Ted 2 actor was visibly smitten with his new girlfriend, holding hands and slipping an arm around her waist as they strolled along.

Giovanni cut a casual figure in beige chinos and a plain white T-shirt as the pair left a brunch date and headed out for a walk.

His partner was in full workout gear, sporting hot pink shorts and a grey top, with a baseball cap shielding her face.

Giovanni was clearly in a romantic mood since his mystery lady was carrying a pretty white flower, presumably a gift from the Friends actor.

It was reported earlier this year that Giovanni had filed for divorce from British beauty Agyness in January, but the couple had been separated since December 28.

The Saving Private Ryan actor cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Giovanni and British model Agyness married in a surprise ceremony in June 2012, and her relatives were reported to be stunned by their secret union, which took place at Los Angeles County Registrar.

He also appeared in Seth MacFarlane's previous film, A Million Ways To Die In The West.
