In a cutting response to the remark, the 49-year-old immediately posted two more images of Williams in a red figure-hugging knee-length dress before writing: 'Yeah, my husband looks just like this in a dress. You're an idiot' (inset). The effective response came after the author gushed: '#SerenaSlam! I love her. What an athlete, what a role model, what a woman!' Speaking tonight at the black-tie event about her attendance, Williams said: 'I brought a nice dress, just in case.'
